Presbytera Maria (nee Kalyvas) Drossos currently serves as the Director of Operations at St. John the Compassionate Mission in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Loyola University of Chicago. She has over 15 years business leadership experience in the food industry and over 15 years experience in the charitable sector, having worked with World Vision Canada and other non-profit organizations.

At her parish, Sts. Panteleimon, Anna and Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Church in Markham, Ontario, Canada, she is the co-director of the Sunday School Program and is active in the Ladies Philoptochos.

Currently she serves as the President of the Sisterhood of Presbyteres of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Canada.
